Brothers and Sisters - Easter is not one day! As we have celebrate Easter Sunday, the Easter Season continues until Pentecost Sunday – this year June 8th. These 50 days from the Sunday of the Resurrection to Pentecost are celebrated as one Feast Day. Throughout these 50 days, the newly Baptized are assigned special seats at Mass. The Paschal Candle or the Christ Candle remains in the sanctuary near the Ambo or Altar.

In today’s Gospel, the disciples said: Were not our hearts burning within us? What are we called to do during this Easter Season of 50 days so that our hearts “burn” for our Risen Savior?
