Brothers and Sisters - All Priests pray the “Office” or the Church’s “Liturgy of the Hours” throughout each day. One morning last week, I remember reading a homily/teaching by St. Hilary, one of the great Fathers of the Church. He wrote on HOW we live in the Trinity of God: that Jesus is One with the Father and lives in the Father in His Divinity, that Jesus is one with us and lives in us in His humanity, and that we are one with Jesus and we live in Jesus in the Sacraments. In today’s Gospel, we hear Jesus tell each of us: “I am with you always, until the end of the ages.” Jesus the Lord lives in us primarily in the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
Pastor Question: How aware are we of Christ’s REAL PRESENCE within us, within others when we receive Holy Communion?
