Brothers and Sisters - As children we learned our purpose in life is to grow to know and love God. Throughout these 50 days, we have the invitation to grow to know God more. But how can we grow to know God? God is sooooo big, sooo “other”! In today’s Gospel, Jesus reveals the truth that He is the Word of God made flesh - the God-Man. Jesus tells us: “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.” Do we take time to grow in our knowledge of God in Jesus Christ? We have a special time to know Jesus more closely during Eastertime. Easter is not one day! Eastertime is 50 days - celebrated as one Feast Day. Our participation in the Sacramental Life of the Church will help us grow in our knowing Jesus, God who is with us.
