A wonderful experience for high school teens and confirmed eighth graders centering on the celebration of the Eucharist. The weekly, Sunday, 5:00PM liturgy has been designated as the LIFE TEEN Mass giving teens the opportunity to minister in special ways during this celebration and through gatherings after Mass.
In addition to Sundays' community, teens have a variety of opportunities to nourish their spiritual growth and live as the Body of Christ through: witnessing to each other; retreats; field trips; diocesan gatherings; service projects within St. Andrew community and the surrounding community. All high school teens and confirmed eighth graders of the parish are welcomed at any time whether their commitment is weekly or occasional.
Life Nights, for High School teens, are held in the Parish Hall, generally, after the Life Teen Mass. Life Nights for Middle School youth are, generally, held the first Sunday of the month after the Life Teen Mass.
Adults who feel that they have a calling and gift to work with teens have a variety of opportunities for involvement: adult C.O.R.E; special events; clerical; sponsors; etc. For more information, please contact the Parish Office at 574-4545.
