Music

Wouldn't you love to hear the bells played at the Christmas Mass? If you are interested in helping to organize a Bell Choir, please contact either Cheryl Mason at 549-6701 or Tom James at 574-4545. Experience is not not necessary, but it is a plus. We have the bells, and now we need enthusiasm and ringers of all ages!

Adult Choir

The 10:30 Choir provides music for the 10:30 AM Mass and, on occasion, other special services. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM in the church. If you are interested in more information, please contact the Tom James at 574-4545.

Meditations Choir

The 9:00 Choir is a group of men, women and children who are dedicated to leading the congregation in song at the 9:00 AM Children's Mass. They also perform at special functions. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7:00 PM in the church. Please contact the Parish office for more information.

Life Teen Band

The Life Teen Band performs weekly at the Life Teen Mass on Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM. The group is made up primarily of teens and young adults. Practice is held on Sundays at 4:00 PM in the church. For more information, please contact Shana Garcia at 634-7082.

Coro Hispano

The St. Andrew Hispanic Choir was founded in 1988, in preparation for the first mass in Spanish at St. Andrew Catholic Church on September 30. The choir responds not only to the need of the people to praise the Lord through singing but fulfills a cultural Latin custom of lively and upbeat church services where people are used to clapping and moving to the rhythms of the songs. In this respect, the music follows the tradition of typical sounds throughout Latin America. The instrumentals of the choir include a bass guitar, one conga, a "cuatro" (similar to a banjo), a lead guitar, two accompaniment guitars and various percussion instruments.
