Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
Welcome to our website and more importantly to our community of St. Andrew. By way of introduction, my name is Fr. Philip Joly, and I am one of your associate pastors here. I was ordained 8 years ago by Bishop John Nevins who is now retired, and I have resided at St. Andrew for a little over a year now. Some folks might tell you that I live here with my 8 year-old daughter ... don't panic, my "daughter" stands about 2 feet tall at the tips of her ears, has 4 legs and is covered with a thick coat of fur ... she is my Siberian Husky, Mischa (pronounced - meesh-ka). Although her size is intimidating, she is actually quite gentle, and works with me as a therapy dog. I'm a native of Connecticut, so you will probably notice a lingering New England accent which at times causes me to omit "R's" from some words and add them to others! I have lived in Florida for over 23 years now. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and be of service to you as your priest. Once again, I welcome you and pray that our dear Lord will bless you with all good things!
Peace and Blessings,
Fr. Philip J. Joly
