Council of Catholic Women

The objectives of the Council of Catholic Women (CCW) are: to unite women of the parish in spiritual community through social activities and raising funds for monetary donations to St. Andrew Church and various charitable organizations.

Regular activities include making rosaries for the Missions, service to various community groups, fund raisers, card parties, Bunco parties, monthly Sunday Mass and Holy Communion as a group, May Crowning and annual Communion Breakfast, Bible Study, and fostering friendships. Meetings are held from September through May on the first Tuesday of the month beginning with Rosary and Benediction at 12:30 PM in the Chapel followed by business meeting in the parish hall.

Hispanic Group

This group's main objective is to develop socio-cultural activities, which promote unity, friendship and spiritual enrichment among all the families and individuals of the Hispanic community at St. Andrew Parish. In addition to regular meetings, typical activities include family picnics, Christmas dinner, and a St. Valentine's Day dance. For more information, please contact Ramon Batista at 542-5193.

St. Joseph's Helpers

St. Joseph's Helpers seeks to provide assistance to any needy families and elderly in our parish community by doing light handy work such as small home repairs, lawn/landscape clean-up, small painting projects, etc. This group also works on assisting the grounds and maintenance crew to help improve and maintain our parish campus and properties. Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic men whose mission is to promote patriotism, charity, unity and fraternity. A social event is held every third Tuesday of the month at 6 PM for Knights, wives and guests. The Knights sponsor a monthly Pasta Night, collect aluminum cans, and hold various dances throughout the year to raise funds for various charities. The group also supports various parish and civic activities. All adult men are welcome. Third Degree meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month. Fourth Degree meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Both meetings start at 7:00 PM in the parish hall. A Hispanic assembly meets on the third Thursday of the month. Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Columbus

The Auxiliary is a service organization whose mission is to support the St. Andrew Knights of Columbus and serve the parish community. Spouses and mothers of a Knight who are also members of St. Andrew Parish are eligible to join. Widows of former Knights are also eligible to join. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the St. Andrew School music room. For more information, please contact Slyvia Pac at 772-2514.


Adult Catholic Christian Formation

Adult Education at St. Andrew is based on Parish Renewal. Parish Renewal follows the insights of John Paul II's apostolic letter In the Beginning of the New Millennium. All adult courses, bible study, and various seminars follow the spirituality of John Paul II as annunciated in his apostolic letter. Call the parish office for more information.
